Care for Children has launched three pioneering foster care projects in:
1) China (est. 1998)
2) Thailand (est. 2012)
3) Vietnam (est. 2017)
Our in-country project teams work directly with government authorities to create and deliver country-specific training programmes that focus on immediate frontline results: children placed into local, loving families.
We've trained thousands of childcare professionals to become expert family-placement workers, who work closely with families and children to ensure that the positive outcomes of foster care are maximised for every child.
Each country project is on a four-stage development process, culminating in an established national foster care programme, orphanages that have been transformed into new and dynamic community resource centres, and access to Care for Children's tailor-made training materials and resources online.
