Position: Head of Content & Quality Control
Location: Norwich, UK
I. Purpose for the Job
To lead quality assurance and content excellence across Care for Children’s global training programmes, ensuring all materials – especially on the My Family digital platform and within Regional Hubs – are accurate, evidence-based, consistent with our family-based care model, and of the highest possible standard.
II. Key Objectives
  • Lead quality review and final sign-off on all training, e-learning and knowledge resources.
  • Oversee content curation, updates and version control for the My Family platform.
  • Work closely with the Head of International Projects and Head of Training to align content with strategy.
  • Develop systems to capture and share learning across Regional Hubs.
  • Produce and supervise high-quality written, visual and digital resources.
  • Keep all content research-led through partnership with the University of East Anglia.
III. Impact of Results
Guarantees that governments and practitioners worldwide receive world-class, trustworthy resources, directly accelerating the transition of children from institutions into safe, loving families.
Qualifications
  • Degree in social work, education, knowledge management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in knowledge management, learning design or quality.
  • assurance (NGO/development sector).
  • Proven experience managing digital learning platforms.
  • Outstanding writing, editing and analytical skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of child protection/family-based care highly desirable.
