Care for Children’s team visited a remarkable village in Luquan, Kunming in September. We chose to come back and visit this village with our friends because its been a wonderful example of how families are taking in children in China as a result of Care for Children’s work.

A lot of these children have severe disabilities however it was beautiful to watch their new families care and nurture them and hear how many children improved over time through the love of their families and the basic resources that is available to them.

We want to continue to help villages like this receive the resources they need for these children. Many are far from schools and medical help so we want to continue to provide support for their needs and family life.
